Five of the eight Hyrox stations are loaded. Here is every weight in one place, and a structure that makes them much easier to remember than a grid of numbers.

The trick to remembering it
There are really only three load columns in the whole race, not four. Open women use the light column. Pro men use the heavy column. Open men and Pro women use exactly the same weights, the middle column, at every single station.
That is genuinely useful if you are moving up. A woman stepping from Open to Pro is taking on the loads that Open men handle, and can train alongside them using identical equipment.
The unloaded stations
Three stations carry no external load: the 1000m SkiErg, the 1000m row and the 80m burpee broad jumps. They are the same for everyone. That does not make them the easy ones, it just means the difficulty is pacing rather than strength.
Which weights actually decide your race
The sled push is the single biggest differentiator, and the jump from Open to Pro is brutal: 152kg to 202kg for men, 102kg to 152kg for women. That is a 50kg increase on a station that is already the hardest thing in the race for most people.
The wall ball change is sneakier. Going from 6kg to 9kg does not sound like much until you multiply it across 100 reps at the end of an 8km race, and the target height rises to 3.0m at the same time.
Should you enter Open or Pro?
Open is the right answer for a first race, and for most people after that too. Pro is not a status thing, it is a different event: heavier sleds change your pacing across the entire race, not just at the sled stations.
A reasonable test is whether you can complete the Pro sled push in under two minutes when fresh. If you cannot, the race will not go the way you want it to.
Frequently asked
Is the sled weight the total including the sled? Yes, the figures quoted are the full loaded weight you are pushing, not plates added on top.
Do the weights change between events? The standards are consistent globally within a season, but they have been revised between seasons before. Check your event page.
What about doubles and relay? Doubles uses the same loads as the equivalent individual division, with partners sharing the work.
Racing soon? Our compression tights for Hyrox use 15-20 mmHg graduated compression in a 225 GSM knit built to hold shape through sled and sandbag work, and our compression race socks run at 25-30 mmHg. Free UK delivery over £50.
