Sustainability

Built to last. That's our sustainability statement.

We don't want to be a company with a veneer of sustainability marketing. We'd prefer to be measured by deeds rather than words. Our approach is simple: build tough, technical, even UNBREAKABLE gear that doesn't need replacing season after season. Because the most sustainable garment is the one that lasts.

Durability is our first sustainability principle

Fast fashion is a resource problem. By engineering products that perform for years rather than months, we reduce the materials, labour, energy and shipping required across the supply chain. Every SA1NT LAYERS compression piece is built with:

  • 225-230 GSM circular knit fabric that holds compression integrity through hundreds of washes
  • Dope-dyed yarns: colour locked into the fibre core, no fading or bleeding
  • 3-needle flatlock seams and reinforced stress points for long-term wear
  • Anti-bacterial treatment that reduces washing frequency

Materials & production

  • Organic and ethically sourced yarns where possible
  • Recycled and biodegradable synthetic yarns when feasible
  • Sustainable, toxin-free dyes (including Archroma)
  • Shift from single-use to recyclable and biodegradable packaging

Supplier partnership standards

We work only with partners who commit to:

  • Renewable energy and efficient resource management
  • Bio-based feedstock and reduced water consumption
  • On-site water treatment plants and CO2 reduction programmes
  • Circular economy and end-of-use recycling initiatives
  • Ethical labour conditions exceeding legal standards. Dignified treatment, non-discrimination, fair pay

Certifications

  • WRAP (Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production)
  • Oeko-Tex Standard 100
  • BSCI (Business Social Compliance Initiative) certified suppliers

What we're working on next

Sustainability isn't a destination. It's a continuous improvement programme. We're actively working on:

  • Increasing recycled fibre content across the range
  • Reducing carbon emissions from international shipping
  • Take-back programmes for end-of-life garments
  • Transparent supplier reporting
